Work on the studio...

Our fall art drive and holiday open house were both great successes.  It was wonderful to see many familiar faces return to visit us again at one or both of those dates.  Thank you so much for the support and we hope to see you again come spring.  Work continues on improvements in the studio, but it's the addition of friends and family that truly make The Art Garage come to life!

www.reusableusables.org -- Fantastic source for creative folks - located in LeClaire, Iowa, their mission is to make the most of items that are usually tossed into landfills.  I've been getting into upcycling over the last year and this place just rocks! They offer classes for kids - what a great way to teach the next generation that there can be a use for nearly anything... instead of landfill!
