Upcoming exhibits and classes!

Classes/workshops: Many thanks to the FIGGE Art Museum and all of the students who attended one (or both!) of my
classes. I offer the following two classes and contact me if you are interested in having me teach.
"Introduction to Fiber Mosaics" - workshop course
An overview of how I create fiber mosaics. Students will leave with an 'original' work of art, choosing from one of my 'kit'
designs.
"Exploring Fiber Mosaics" - two session course
This course is a more complete look at fiber mosaics. Students will be encouraged to create an original design. (I also have
several ideas to help get you started.) Students work on a design and I review some basic design principles to help
composition. Preliminary steps in creating a mosaic are covered during the first class; second course covers fabric selection,
assembly and framing options.

QCArt Collective (check in often as new events are scheduled) As a member of this artist group, I'm able to show new work in an intimate setting with many talented area artists. Our intent is to showcase the fine quality of work available in our region. Our first outing was held at Gilda's Club in Davenport and we enjoyed a great turnout of art patrons. If you are interested in attending future events, please email me and I'll include you in our next mailing. Visit www.the-art-collective.org for more information.
